And Then There Was Two ... .. .

One week ago we brought home a new member of the family a little girl weighing 2.4kg . She is quite a mischief maker but sure does pull at your heart strings... Her name is Kitsu ( Kit -Sue) but we call her Kit.  We got her name from Kitsooneh which means fox in Japanese. 

 The first week was definitely rough at first Tosh hated her, Kitsu wouldn't sleep at nights and then both dogs got bad diarrhea and Tosh was also vomiting. After my husband came home to one bad mess and Tosh finally on medication were back on track. Tosh and Kitsu now play together and is hard to separate them. 

Long time no see

So its been quite a while since my last post time just got away from me..... Between Tosh and work life is very busy.

Who is this Saskatchewan Shiba Inu ???

   He is a very mysterious creature.  No one knows for certain just what this creatures looks like or his behaviours...... nah just kidding.
   His name is Toshiko meaning wise in Japanese.  We call him Tosh for short. He's a 11 month old Shiba Inu.  Although Shiba's are not common in Saskatchewan he is not the only one.  He is a very smart dog that picks up on things quickly. He makes me laugh and has made me cry all in the same day.  I grew up caring for animals but he has taught me more about responsibility and myself than I would have ever thought.
   Over the past year Tosh has become quite the character. I have created this Blog to share with others all the laughter and frustration of this lil ball of fur...
